Referring to the statutes governing Rwanda Editing and Literature Organization (RELO), the meeting of the General Assembly as the supreme organ of this organization, was held on 01 May 2021 in its ordinary session. The session was held virtually (zoom meeting) following the consequences of covid-19. The meeting validated the activity and financial reports for the year 2020.
RELO members appreciated the step taken in publishing books related to children’s rights, leaflets popularizing the message of Nyerekainzira’s book, the creation of a mini library for children and the creation of the RELO website. The members of the General Assembly thanked RELO’s partners, in particular Kerk in Actie and ESELER for their financial support, which enabled RELO to achieve its objectives. They recommended those activities to edit books and advertising RELO programs through the use of social networks be pursued with a view to reaching a wide audience.
