WHO WE ARE
Rwanda Editing and Literature Organization (RELO) is a Christian organization founded in 2012 to promote, encourage and support literature in Rwanda. This organization is created by the initiative of the intellectuals from the high institutions and the different staff of the civil society organizations, who were interested to promote the writing and reading program among the youth Rwandans.
Becoming a better writer is not easy. It takes a lot of labor and determination, our main goal is to encourage the production of literature by Rwandans, empower all generations by improving reading and writing skills in Rwanda especially the young people.
Vision
RELO Vision is a creative and innovative activity of production and dissemination of knowledge through the editing and publication of books by Rwandans for poverty reduction from the young people.

Goals & Objectives
Rwanda Editing and Literature Organization’s edition is helping Rwandans to publish their essays, short stories, other writings; RELO is professionally skilled to transform theses into books. RELO promotes the culture of reading among youth through the organization of competitions by giving prizes to young writers. RELO receive manuscripts in domains related to social sciences in 3 languages, English, French and Kinyarwanda.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Editing, Publishing books
2. Promoting edition of the works of Christian culture in Rwanda
3. Promoting reading and writing culture by Organizing seminars, conferences and writing competition.
4. Promoting literature in Rwanda particularly and in Africa in general based on professional and Christian ethics in analyzing social, economic, cultural, religious and political issues involved.
OUR PROGRAMS
Editing and writing
RELO operates in different ways which include: publishing books, editing and promote edition of the works of Christian culture in Rwanda, produce, promote and distribute audio-visual materials, promote the production, circulation and access to knowledge through new technological and communication means (ICT).
Poverty reduction
Considering the poverty is vicious circle, in Africa, this situation commences from the long period in the family of African citizens and continues to the government institutions. The strategy for eradicating this poverty is to encourage the young people to be involved in the process from the primary, secondary and university schools. The program intends to sensitize the young from the basic age in order to grow with the high knowledge and capacity to combat the poverty in their mind. The writing and reading will be one the strategies to eradicate the poverty in Rwanda especially and in African countries in general.
